Maypak's Journey Towards Excellent Quality dates back to the early days when we were among the first few Malaysian companies to actively seek joint-venture with Japanese parties. Besides enjoying the advantages of transferring the latest technology in the packaging industry, we have adopted the Japanese's philosophy of quality. The emphasis on quality has set Maypak to gain its prominence and strong foothold in Malaysia .

Our vision to achieve world class manufacturer status reflects our continuous quest for excellence and pursuit to fulfill customers' quality expectations. It is our Quality Policy to be the market leader in Product Quality and Services.

In October 1995, we duly received the Quality Management System (QMS) MS: ISO 9002 : 1994 certification from SIRIM Certification body. Our quality journey continues when we successfully upgraded the QMS to MS: ISO 9001: 2000 in November 2002. The quality management system is fully described in the quality manual, operating procedures, work instructions and related documents; the requirements of which are followed by all employees at all times.

We recognize that both technology and people are essential to high-quality manufacturing. Each operation requires appropriate measuring methods and devices that can closely monitor the manufacturing processes. Sophisticated equipment such as In-line inspection machines are used to detect defects. This allows our operation to detect deviations from the processes immediately and to make the necessary adjustments.
